2019 Impact!

2019 Impact!

Hi, everyone!

This is an extra special blog post taken from our newsletter outlining Fulfilling Destiny’s impact in 2019!

This year has been such an amazing period of growth. It has truly been an incredible twelve months.

This September marked Fulfilling Destiny’s two year anniversary! Each year we continue to grow stronger and more effective.

Last year, 2018, we made and distributed over 1,600 Dignity Bags to women and girls experiencing homelessness in San Diego. This year, 2019, we made and distributed over 3,900 Dignity Bags — that is an increase of 150%! All this means over 2019 we helped thousands of women and girls in our community experience their periods with dignity.

This year brought several new distribution partnerships:

Mesa College

PATH

Think Dignity Storage

We are excited about expanding our partners as we work to fight period poverty in San Diego. The more women and girls we can help empower the better.

We partnered and collaborated with so many amazing community organization to bring about such a profound impact. Thank you:

The House of Plants

Baja Public Health Initiative

Hispanic Business Students Association

Pup The Band

Pacific Discovery

At Least One Day A Month

La Loupe Vintage

Girls Scouts Troops 10 and 6018

Casa Familiar

Growth And Grace Life

Women’s Resource Center at San Diego State University

We are so grateful to our one hundred committed, dedicated, and passionate community of volunteers, donors, and sponsors — you guys are truly the best!

We would be unable to provide the products necessary to help women and girls experience their periods with dignity without your continued support. Thank you so much to everyone that helped make this year so impactful.

This year we have made great strides to end period poverty locally.  We have worked to empower thousands of women and girls in our community.

We are thrilled to usher in a new decade. This year will be our best yet.
