For this month of December, we distributed Dignity Bags packed by the Sociology Club at San Diego State University to Rachel’s Women’s Center. Our Administrative Assistant, Amber, came out to talk with the women as she passed out the bags. Having faced period poverty and homelessness herself, the interactions were very meaningful to her. It fills our hearts to know that women are being taken care of this holiday season and will continue to be taken care of through the services of centers like Rachel’s.
